Do the Level Grind

I was in an RPG/Square Enix mood this week... as you will no doubt see from the list of games that I played.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (DS): I had been stuck at Goresby-Purrvis for a while now.  It was so satisfying finally bringing him down.  I had finally gotten the determination to level grind.  I am now at the start of the final dungeon, The Realm of The Almighty.  I foresee more level grinding in my future...

Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light (DS): I'm currently in Geura.  I dislike being unable to choose my target for attacking/healing.  The Action Point Battle System is a little annoying too, but at least I don't have to worry about running out of MP.  Also the inventory is a real pain.  Only 15 spots per character...

Final Fantasy IV (DS): I'm currently at Mount Hobs.  I'm loving every second of this game. Hell, even level grinding is fun.  I played the Virtual Console version (Final Fantasy II) and well, I lost interest.  It was too easy.

Final Fantasy III (DS): Since Final Fantasy III (VI) came out on the virtual console a few weeks ago, and due to that whole not buying games for a year thing, I couldn't buy it, so I had to settle for the next best thing.  The actual Final Fantasy III.  I'm currently outside Dragon's Peak, doing, what else, Level Grinding.

Also played a bit of Arc Rise Fantasia (Wii) and by played I mean I just started a new file to record the horrible voice acting.  And I thought the "Reading off a script" was painfully obvious in my videos... Also, it feels like my Wii is overheating.  It's hot to the touch, after only being plugged in so it's currently unplugged... Sounds like it needs to go in to Nintendo to be fixed, there is also the disk drive that is making sounds...  Under normal conditions I probably would just buy a new system.  But I have so many VC and WiiWare titles that I don't want to lose.  Sigh I wish there were unified accounts...
